President Hou Jianguo and delegation will be visiting Temple University on October 27. In 2008 Temple and USTC became dual bachelor’s master’s degree partners and currently 12 students from USTC study at Temple (5 in Fox School of Business and Management, 3 Engineering, 2 CST, 1 MED, and 1 SCT). The purpose of the visit is for both institutions to learn more about each other. The day’s visit includes a campus tour, overview of Temple University, President Hart’s welcome luncheon, meeting with deans, lecture by President Hou in chemistry, and dinner hosted by Provost.

After President Hou’s lecture on "Quantum Controlling at the Molecular Scale" in chemistry, we would like to host a reception with USTC students, alumni, and Chinese faculty 5PM – 6PM.
